HUNT, James J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 25, 2004, James J. Hunt of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by brother: Bernard; parents: John and Mary Hunt; beloved uncle and aunt, who raised him: Richard and Annie Fitzpatrick. Leaving to mourn, special family friends: Patrick and Flora Kennedy, Carbonear and their children: Jerome (Rachel) Kennedy and Joanne (Steve) Walsh, both of St. John's, Paul (Ann Marie) Kennedy, Harbour Grace, Sharon (Steve) Leonard, Ottawa, ON, Diane Kennedy, Carolyn (Gerry) Ryan, Judy (Gary) Hoyles and David (Cindy) Kennedy, all of Carbonear and Denise (John) Sheppard, Upper Gullies; sister-in-law: Ellen Hunt, Massachusetts, USA; special little friends: Nicole, Jennifer, Shawn, Julia, Michael, Mark, Matthew, Emily, Joshua and Hailee; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR and from where the funeral will take place on Saturday, February 28 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
