Obituary of Nathaniel Lynch

LYNCH, Nathaniel N. 'Nath' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2004, Nathaniel N. 'Nath' Lynch of Harbour Grace, age 84 years. Predeceased by son: Edward; parents: Joseph and Alice; brother: Graham and sisters: Hannah, Jessie and Maryann. Leaving to mourn, wife: Cecilia; two daughters: Jeanette (Darrell) Butt, Hanmer, Ontario and Alice (Kevin) Pye, Harbour Grace; four grandchildren: Nathaniel 'Buddy', Jonah, Ryan and Jonathan; two sisters: Sadie Chafe, Ontario and Edith Lynch, Carbonear; five sisters-in-law: Hazel Lynch, Sadie (Graham) Lynch, Janet Mercer and Veronica (Walter) Follett, all of Harbour Grace and Frances (Malcolm) Sears, Paradise; five brothers-in-law: Lawrence (Angela) Mercer, Paradise, Ralph (Donna) Mercer, Bridgewater, NS, Ed (Sylvia) Mercer and Don (Rosalind) Mercer, both of Harbour Grace and Jerry (Catherine) Mercer, Harbour Grace South; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Nathaniel Lynch Memorial Fund.
