COOMBS, John - Passed away at Toronto, ON on Friday, March 19, 2004, John Coombs of Ontario formerly of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 83 years. Predeceased by lifetime companion: Perpetua Tobin; sister: Mary; brothers: Richard, Leo and Reginald. Leaving to mourn sisters: Alice Stamp and Bessie Shannahan, both of St. John's; sister-in-law: Dorothy Coombs, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; members of the Tobin Family; as well as a number of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE with visitation on Friday, March 26 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and from where the funeral will take place on Saturday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
