MCCARTHY, Lillian Mae - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, April 14, 2004, Lillian Mae McCarthy of Carbonear, age 99 years. Predeceased by husband: Harold; son: Charles Melvin; Infant son: Ernest Nelson; brothers: William and John Amos; sister: Edith. Leaving to mourn, daughter-in-law: Tess, Bradford, ON; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Mary Ann Cole, Victorian Manor, Victoria; adopted brother: Eugene (Muriel) Kelloway, Salmon Cove; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Kelloway, Victorian Manor, Victoria; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Saturday, April 17. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Bethany United Cemetery Fund, Carbonear.
