PENNEY, Abram - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, April 26, 2004, Abram Penney of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by first wife: Nina 1967; grandson: Terry Snow; sister: Inez Forward. Leaving to mourn wife: Elizabeth V. 'Betty'; one daughter: Eileen (Woodrow) Snow, Kelligrews; two grandchildren: Lisa Snow and Tammy (Michael) Pope; two great-grandchildren: Carter and Chandler; one step-son: Campbell (Sylvia) Carew, St. John's; two step-grandchildren: Christopher (Heidi) Carew and Andrea Carew; one step-great-grandchild: Sarah; one sister: Minnie (Donald) Kirby, Boston, Massachusetts, USA; special brother-in-law: Bob Forward, Carbonear; a number of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 28. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted, or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Bethany United Church Cemetery Fund.
