GEAR, Edward F. - Passed peacefully away at his residence on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, Edward F. Gear of Carbonear, age 83 years. Predeceased by wife: Alice; brothers: Mike and Tom; sisters: Margaret and Alice. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Alice (Larry) Gushue and Barbara, both of Brampton, ON; four sons: Edward Jr. and Wayne (Norma), both of Brampton, ON, Gerard (Diane), Labrador City and Brian (Sheila), Carbonear; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Alec and John (Rita); one sister: Kathleen; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR and from where the funeral will take place on Saturday, May 29 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Carbonear.
