GREEN, Violet May - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, June 8, 2004, Violet May Green of Lower Island Cove, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband: Job; daughter: Sharon; brothers: Joseph, Alvin and Maxwell. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Eileen (Douglas) Tucker, Lower Island Cove; four sons: Arthur, Toronto, ON, Russell, Ralph (Mary) and Douglas, all of Lower Island Cove; five grandchildren: Norman (Caroline), Jerome (Candy), Crystal (Jeff), Colleen and Ryan; one great-grandchild: Justine; one sister: Edith Tucker, Sault St. Marie, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethal United Church, Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, June 11 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Bethal United Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Violet May Green Memorial Fund.
