Obituary of Thelma Bowman

Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 28, 2004, Thelma Jean Bowman of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 77 years. Leaving to mourn husband: David; one daughter: Kerry (Jack) Schafer, Red Deer, AB; three sons: John (Diane) Burnaby, BC, Warren, Freshwater, Carbonear and Robert (Bob Daley), Ottawa, ON; five grandchildren: Jamie, Matt, Daniel, Cameron and Mitchell; one brother: Jack (Pat) Nightingale, Lion's Head, ON; one sister: Mabel Smith, Burlington, ON; special friends: Eric and Dallas Parsons, Freshwater, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours by request of the family on Wednesday from 2:30 to 5 p.m., 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
