BURSEY, Edison James - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Sunday, July 4, 2004, Edison James Bursey of Burnt Point, age 69 years. Predeceased by parents: William John and Mildred. Leaving to mourn daughters: Madonna (Clarence) Saunders, Grand Falls- Windsor, Catherine (Gerald) Reid, South Dildo and Joy Downton, Grand Falls-Windsor and their mother Mary Bursey, Grand Falls-Windsor; daughter: Samantha (Colin) Bursey, Burnt Point and her mother Rita McDonnell, Northern Bay; five grandchildren: Tanya (Rod), David, Krysta, Andrea and Matthew; two great-grandchildren: Dawson and Taylor; two brothers: Sandy Bursey and Lorenzo (Nellie) Bursey, both of Burnt Point; twin sister: Stella Warfield, St. John's; nephews: Craig Bursey and David Warfield; nieces: Rosalind Pumphrey, Michelle Dominic and Deanne Dillon; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Calvary United Church, Burnt Point and from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 7 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Calvary United Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Calvary United Church, Burnt Point or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
