Obituary of Nina Lillian Curnew

CURNEW, Nina Lillian - Passed peacefully away at her daughter's residence on Friday, May 18, 2012, Nina Lillian Curnew of Victoria, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband: William, parents: John and Beatrice Slade, infant sister: Margaret, infant brother: Elijah, brothers: John and Murdock, sisters: Christina, Dora, Suzanna and Mabel. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Judy (Edward Higgins) and Nina (Wayne) Evely, both of Victoria; three sons: Dennis (Leona), Point of Bay, Gary (Mary), Victoria and Allan (Bonnie), Hamilton, ON; ten grandchildren: Lisa (David), Gary (Deanna), Denise (Keith), Billy (Tami), Sherry (Andy), Jeffrey (Amy), Amanda, Deanne (Matthew), Thomas and James; twelve great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Allyssa, Kayla, Jenna, Jeremy, Taylor, Liam, Dawson, Ryan, Madison, Alexa and Cameron; two sisters: Alfreda Clarke and Maxine Vaters, both of Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria.
