MCCARTHY, William - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, July 8, 2004, William McCarthy of Harbour Grace, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Felix and Alice; brother: Charles; sister: Agnes; special friend: Frances White; sister-in-law: Elizabeth and brothers-in-law: James and William. Leaving to mourn, four brothers: Justin, Joseph and Edward (Ruth), all of Harbour Grace and James (Josephine), Toronto, ON; two sisters: Margaret Bowman, Carbonear and Nellie (Gerald) Russell, Goose Bay, Labrador; Frances White's two daughters: Mary Cornish and her children: Crystal 'Chrissy' and Charles; Frances and her children: Leona, Christopher and Kayla; sister-in-law: Laura McCarthy, Glace Bay, NS; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace with visitation hours on Sunday, July 11 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Monday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Inurnment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. No flowers by request.
