OLIVER, Augustine 'Gussie' - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 5, 2004, Augustine 'Gussie' Oliver of Gull Island, age 60 years. Predeceased by parents: Edward and Emma; sisters: Madeline, Bernadette and Margaret. Leaving to mourn Wife: Matilda 'Tilley'; three daughters: Kimberley (Edward) Woodfine, Calgary, AB, Dale Oliver (Dale Pike), Gull Island and Sherry (Jeffrey) Slade, Calgary, AB; four grandchildren: Tanner, Kyle, Kaitlyn and Kayley; five brothers: William, Edward (Pauline), Henry (Theresa), Leo (Darlene), all of Gull Island and Jerome, St. John's; two sisters: Martha (Leo) Doyle and Winnie (Peter) Hogan, both of Gull Island; parents-in-law: Felix (Violet) Oliver, Gull Island; brother-in-law: Ted Oliver (Millie Sparkes), St. John's; sisters-in-law: Phyllis (Vic) Skinner and Lorraine (Glenn) Oliver, both of Ochre Pit Cove; a number of nieces, nephews and also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Main Highway, Western Bay and from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Northern Bay.
