GRIMES, Margaret Jean - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Sunday, May 20, 2012, Margaret Jean Grimes of Little Bay Islands, Green Bay, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Harvey and Amelia Pomeroy; step-father: Daniel Eastman and brother: Ernie. Leaving to mourn, husband: Ronald; one daughter: Florence (Bruce) Jenkins, Springdale; five sons: Frank (Gertrude), Carbonear, Dennis (Barbara), Little Bay Islands, Ronald (Donna), Flowers Cove, Ernie (Surina), St. John's and Daniel (Charlene), Harbour Grace South; daughter-in-law: Juanita Grimes, Springdale; nine grandchildren: Patti-Lynn (Richard), Tara, Jennifer, Nicole (Brent), Peter (Jackie), Christopher (Nikki), Chad (Ashley), Wayne (Amy) and Noah; four great-grandchildren: Joshua, Kaitlyn, Keenan and Brea; one brother: Roy (Neta) Pomeroy, Lewisporte; three sisters: Mollie (Frank) Janes, Embree, Glenys (Ted) Northcott, Appleton and Barbara Pomeroy, St. John's; sister-in-law: Yvette Boone, La Scie; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Private family visitation and funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 22 at Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
