SPARKES, Beulah M. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, August 18, 2004, Beulah M. Sparkes of Lower Island Cove, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband: John C., 1970; parents: Benjamin and Emily Inkpen; brothers: Solomon, Eric, Benjamin 'Lou' and George; sisters: Florence and Etta May. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Jean (Lloyd) LeShane, Lower Island Cove, Belle (Calvin) Butt, Bay Roberts and Louise (Eric) Snelgrove, Truro, NS; one son: Donald (Patricia), Lower Island Cove; nine grandchildren: Barry, Robert (Marlene), Carol Ann, Wanda (Philip), Kimberly, Robinette M.D. (Blair), Terry (Erin), Jason (Sarah) and Wendy; four great-grandchildren: Mark, Vanessa, Zachary and Emma Grace; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove after 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 20 and until 12 noon Sunday, August 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel and Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel Building Fund, Lower Island Cove.
