PEACH, Alfred W. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 6, 2004, Alfred W. Peach of Broad Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by son: Donald and infant son. Leaving to mourn wife: Lillian M.; two daughters: Mary (Berkley) Whalen, Brampton, ON and Mabel (William) Calder, Springhill, NS; four sons: Charles, Broad Cove, Robert (Denise), Flatrock, Gordon (Phyllis), Edmonton, AB and Gerald (Judy), Broad Cove; twenty-two grandchildren: Bradley, Brian, Edie, Donald Jr., Kathy, Tammy, Dawn, Leslie, Keith, Glen, Susan, Beth Ann, Amanda, Lisa, Virginia, Anita, Shelley, Raymond, Stephanie, Trevor, Kayla and Taylor; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; four brothers: Leslie (Janie), Boston, Mass. USA, Robert (Lucille), Manuels, George, Bay Roberts and Charles (Jean), Lower Sackville, NS; one sister: Mary Reynolds, Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Thursday, September 9. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Broad Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church, Broad Cove.
