MCCARTHY, Mary M. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2004, Mary M. McCarthy of Harbour Grace, age 59 years. Leaving to mourn, husband: Michael J.; two daughters: Sharon (Perry) Young, St. John's and Michelle Stephens, Harbour Grace; one son: Paul (Mona), Makinsons; three grandchildren: David and Bradley Stephens and Mitchell Young; parents: Dennis and Irene Dobbin, Upper Island Cove; two brothers: Dennis and Wade Dobbin, both of Upper Island Cove; four sisters: Margaret (Randolph) Clarke and Shirley (Ernest) Clarke, both of Bishop's Cove, Irene (John) Drover, Spaniard's Bay and Florence (John predeceased) Janes, Cambridge, Ontario; special brother-in-law: Bill McCarthy, Harbour Grace South; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Mary M. McCarthy Memorial Fund.
