Obituary of Jesse Oliver

OLIVER, Jesse - Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge, St. John's on Tuesday, September 21, 2004, Jesse Oliver of Burnt Point, age 86 years. Predeceased by wife: Margaret; sister: Mary; daughter-in-law: Marjorie and son-in-law: Robert. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Lorraine (Arthur) Snow, Viola Follett and Vina (Ralph) Kirkland, all of Mount Pearl, Ethel Oliver and Linda (Gary) Milley, both of Burnt Point; four sons: James (Marion) and Graham, both of Burnt Point, Alvin (Carol Anne), St. John's and Bruce (Eileen), Topsail; eleven grandchildren: Joy (Brian), Arthur (Donna), Sandra (Darrel), Barbara (Terry), Stephen, Mark, Rochelle (Chad), Leona (Dennis), Susan (Scott), Karen (Tony) and Allison; nine great-grandchildren: Gillian, Jessica, Jonathan, Megan, Brady, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Jonathan and Jason; two brothers: Charles (Rebecca) and Allan George (Winnie), both of Burnt Point; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point and from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Burnt Point. Flowers gratefully accepted, or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Gospel Hall, Burnt Point.
