THOMS, Francis C. 'Frank' - Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Friday, September 24, 2004, Francis C. 'Frank' Thoms of Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by wife, Phyllis; sisters: Georgina and Sybil. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Dianne Hunt (Eric), Victoria Cove; three sons: Frank (Carmelita), Labrador City, Philip (Sheila), Cambridge, ON, and Chris (Linda), St. John's; ten grandchildren: Duncan (Kim), Darren, Denise (Cory), Jeremy, Christopher, Philip (Janet), Frank (Paulette), Curtis (Kristina), Christopher (Jamie) and Karen (Jerome); four great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Erica, Jade and Duncan; four brothers: William, Carbonear, James (Mary), Thorold, ON, Frederick (Linda), Bell Island and Guy (Gladys), Carbonear; two sisters: Ascenith 'Sean' Winstanley, St. Catherine's, ON and Phyllis Power, Carbonear; brother-in-law: James Forward, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Monday, September 27. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
