Obituary of Irene Hunt

HUNT, (nee Barrett) Irene - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family, at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex, St. John's on Monday, October 11, 2004, two weeks before her 92nd birthday, Irene Hunt of Harbour Grace. Predeceased by her husband, James E. 1980; sister: Theresa; brothers: Abraham and Herbert. Lovingly remembered by her two sons: Edward (Ruby), Mount Pearl and Gordon (Margaret), Cobourg, ON; four daughters: Theresa (George) Pike, Lower Sackville, NS, Margaret (Rex) Serrick, Carbonear, Irene (Richard) Green and Elizabeth (Gary) Earle, both of Mount Pearl; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one sister: Ethel Deering, Shearstown; sisters-in-law: Vera Hunt, Meda Hunt and Mary Hunt, all of Harbour Grace and Violet Noel, St. John's; brother-in-law: Duncan Hunt, Harbour Grace; and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE with visitation hours by request of the family on Tuesday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, October 14 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
