Obituary of Helen Pike

PIKE, Helen - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, October 30, 2004, Helen Pike of Harbour Grace, age 78 years. Predeceased by husband: Donald H.; parents: James and Annie Power; sister: Jean Archibald; brother: Jack and son-in-law: Alex Pinhorn. Leaving to mourn five daughters: Donna Pinhorn, Carbonear, Grace Ann (Quinton) Shave, Dunville, Carol (Si) Green, Winterton, Bonnie (Pete) Crocker and Susan Pike, both of Harbour Grace; four sons: Laurence (Liz), Greenhill, NS, Jim (Anie), Paul (Carmel) and Hubert, all of Harbour Grace; seventeen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; four sisters: Beth (Jim) Sturgeon, Blackville, NB, Margaret (Gerald) French and Marina Gilchrist, both of Stroud, ON and Myra (Bill) Nutter, Pennsylvania, USA; brother-in-law: Albert 'Wool' Archibald, Toronto, ON; sisters-in-law: Mary Sheppard, Gander and Rowena (Neville) Haynes, Lloydminster, AB; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE after 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31 and from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, November 2 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Coughlan United Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
