Obituary of Ernest Bishop

BISHOP, Ernest - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Wednesday, December 15, 2004, Ernest Bishop of Broad Cove, age 86 years. Predeceased by five brothers: John, Abslom, Kenneth, Herbert and Fredrick; six sisters: Mildred, Nellie, Lucy, Bertha, Elsie and Gladys. Leaving to mourn wife: Janie; one daughter: Marie Oakley (Brant Payne); Calgary, AB; three sons: John, Dartmouth, NS, Guy (Judy), St. John's and Emrys (Edith), Cambridge, ON; thirteen grandchildren: Jason (Melissa), Chad (Elaine), Cortney, Keegan, Elizabeth, Gary, Karen (David), Kellie (Steve), Danielle (Chad), Tara (Jeff), Scott (Judy), Reid (Reneé) and Mark; eleven great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Saturday, December 18. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Blackhead. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the North Shore Central Ambulance Fund.
