hello and best wishes to family. this is kenny and i was lookaround through the funeral home page for nan and and pop... i was abot to find pop but when i founds nals little piece of cyber space after she has gone to heaven. we are missing photos and prehaps also proper dates of messages previously left by people. having said this, i am a systems administrator. seems to me that the server had a small crash at some point holding items back as far as this date. so a platter spinning 15 years in server some place. im sure they were able to recover what they could migrate properly..
now all the same big hello to nan. i found the site after hearing about another passing and had also looked through the site to find nan.
i would not know where to start and say thing of my grandmother. the only one i ever had and the one and only that made the best marshmellow cookies imaginable. she loved to sing and play the organ as well as the acordian. a woman who consistently loved to bake things. bread. cakes. cookies. all hand made and everything with love and care. there was nothing that the woman could not make. pea soup and fisn n brews. all was on the table for a cup of tea in the back kitchen in the day. little wood stove. the fire be in and warm up your feet. i can hear her now calling out to (pop) cecil... 'cecil.. come in by now and get yer tea before tis gets cold' he be out putting a bit of fish on the flake. nan marcie. was the true defination of grandmother. she would sometimes provide 50 cents for a icecream or a bag of chips. she loved church and how she would love to sing and sing should could and knew all the hyms with out the book. carry the tune and sure she knew them all well.. the woman was a legacy from up the bay and down the shore. very well known. also one of the largest funerals known to be held at the location. it was as well to book the entire place. packed to the gunnels. in they all come from far and wide. planes trains and automobiles. arrive they did to noels.
in sure if people go to heaven. thats where she went. not much in the flow of this.. no.. ya i often write well.. but anyways telemarketers and in this case sobeys.. of course the time is lovely when you are writing condolences about your grandparents and the server its on like the dog that eats the homework.
so anways nan how are ya today. over to check the mail. yes the cookies are delicious. i shared a couple today in school for recess. oh look busker got the mop. he wants to play. in later times peggy would wag her tale lick your face and you give her a nibble of a little bit of corn beaf from the plate for a nibble. stitch and sew she did with a singer sewing machine. it was run by hand. she could make anything and many quilts. nothing went to waste and if you had a new pair of jeans. the would hem them up to the right length. she made my suit for communion classes at church. it seemed silly back in the day. but to look back at the past it was in reality a very sharp looking outfit for a young fellow to wear. the second home and the second mother. if you were not home you were at the other.
thats just the way it was. nan and pop was a great bunch. anyways all the best to everyone. technology is nice. we are a bit far from the ridge we say up to the plot of he and she. lew is up there as well and a couple more..
drink yer tea and have a biscut. put a fiew lines of text in to say hello.
