Obituary of Irene Lambert

LAMBERT, Irene- Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 19, 2005, Irene Lambert of Carbonear, age 61 years. Predeceased by parents: Ralph and Mildred Pike; sister: Phyllis and brother: Edward. Leaving to mourn husband: George R.; six daughters: Wanda (John) Gosse, PEI, Bertha Lambert, Barbara Lambert and Marie Lambert, all of Massachusetts, USA, Jennifer (John) Lambe, Toronto, ON and Karen Lambert, Carbonear; two sons: George (Goldie), Glovertown and Edward, Massachusetts, USA; six grandchildren: Stephen, Danielle, Tiffany, Mitchell, Noelle and Alexandria; one great-grandson: Owen; four brothers: Ralph (Jean) Pike, Owen Sound, ON, Samuel (Barbara) Pike, NS, Cyril (Rita) Pike and Graham (Angela) Pike, both of Carbonear; seven sisters: Dorothy (Gene) Shively, Ohio, USA, Jean (Graham) Auchinleck, St. John's, Ruby (Winston) Churchill, Portugal Cove, Mary (Clyde) Butt, Nancy (Martin) Oates and Clara (William) Oates, all of Carbonear and Barbara (David) Slade, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Saturday, January 22. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Irene Lambert Memorial Fund.
