SHEPPARD, Catherine M. 'Kay'- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, February 2, 2005, Catherine M. 'Kay' Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 46 years. Original owner of Kay's Restaurant, Hr. Grace. Predeceased by father: Edward; brother: George and mother-in-law: Philomena. Leaving to mourn husband: Peter; son: Kearan; mother: Susie Dwyer, Hr. Grace; five brothers: Gordon (Joan) Dwyer, Brampton, ON, Ed (Cheryl) Dwyer, Gander, Jack (Linda) Dwyer, Gambo, Phil (Joanne) Dwyer, Bramalee, ON and Terry (Connie) Dwyer, Langley, BC; five sisters: Doris (Jim) Scharpegge, Gander, Ruth Dwyer (Dave), Gander, Jean (Doug) Buchanan, Lower Sackville, NS, Pat (Terry) Oake, Gander and Susan (Joe) Howell, Mount Pearl; father-in-law: Bill (Yvonne) Sheppard, Hr. Grace; brothers-in-law: Paul (Penny) Sheppard, Chamberlains, George (Sandi) Sheppard, Paradise and Will Sheppard, Hr. Grace; sisters-in-law: Linda Dwyer, Evelyn (Jim) Pynn and Kathy (Ken) Tetford, all of Hr. Grace and Debby (Glenn) Vokey, Spaniard's Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 4. Funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hr. Grace. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's.
