BURDEN, Myrtle - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, June 7, 2012, Myrtle Burden of Carbonear, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Leonard, son: Leonard, brothers: Cecil, Norman, George, Edward and Marvin, sisters: Ruby and Janie. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Vivian, Victoria and Peggy, Cambridge, ON; two sons: David (Nellie) and Jerry (Yvonne), both of Victoria; daughter-in-law: Maxine, Harbour Grace; eight grandchildren: Scott, Kenneth (Christine), Clark (Tina), Keith (Melanie), Peter (Sue), Glen (Cindy), Penny (Roland) and Robert (Robyn); eleven great-grandchildren: Hailey, Noah, Charles, Emily, Tyler, Faith, Mackenzie, Hannah, Olivia, Liam and Jacob; brother: Herbert (Kay) King, Glace Bay, NS; sister: Vivian O'Neill, Oshawa, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, June 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Carbonear. Interment in Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
