Obituary of Harris Pippy

PIPPY, Harris- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, February 7, 2005, Harris Pippy of Small Point, age 68 years. Predeceased by parents: Newman and Anna. Leaving to mourn, wife: Madonna; three daughters: Cindy (Glen) Fraser, Brampton, ON, Tina (Ron) Axam, Ottawa, ON and Shellie (Perry) Morris, Salmon Cove; one son: Rex (Diane), Mount Pearl; seven grandchildren: Matthew, Meghan, Devon, Paris, Jesse, Regan and Kara; two brothers-in-law: Charles (Maureen) George and Terry (Ellen) George, both of Corner Brook; five sisters-in-law: Helen Ford (Roy Clarke), Corner Brook, Mary (Jack) Tipping, Calgary, AB, Sylvia Plater, Detroit, Michigan, USA, Gloria (Ron) Carter, St. John's and Vera Rodgers, Kentucky, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 12:00 noon Thursday, February 10. Funeral service to follow at 3:30 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Broad Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the ALS Society or to the Lung Association.
