SLADE, Isaac William- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 13, 2005, Isaac William Slade of Salmon Cove, age 73 years. Predeceased by sons: Noel, Rodger and Perry; parents: Isaac and Leah; brothers: Albert and Arthur; sisters: Mary, Jennie and Alvina. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mina; two sons: Scott (Pearl) and Jamie (Valerie), both of Victoria; three daughters: Leah Budgell (Sean McGuire), Stonycreek, AB; Diane (James) Rogers, Carbonear and Kelly (Brent) Slade, Scarborough, ON; five grandsons: Jamie, Matthew, Mark, Justin and Riley; four granddaughters: Jennifer, Chrystal, Nicole and Morgan; two great-grandchildren: Taylor and Emily; one brother: George (Rita) Slade; Salmon Cove; father-in-law: George H. Peckham, Salmon Cove; brother-in-law: Ambrose Slade, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Phyllis Slade, Ochre Pit Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Wednesday, February 16. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
