CLARKE, Frances D.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, March 24, 2005, Frances D. Clarke of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Chesley A., infant son: George, son: Oral; grandsons: Jerry, Bobby and Rickey, parents: Nicholas and Gertie Clarke; eight brothers. Leaving to mourn, seven daughters: Carol (Bill) White, Ontario, Betty (Douglas) Holwell, Ontario, Joan (Thomas) White, Carbonear, Olive (Winston) Thoms, Carbonear, Gertie (Fleaming) Epsen, Victoria, Janie (Max) Slade, Victoria and Sueann (Brian) Baldwin, Ontario; two sons: Isaac (Beckey), Nova Scotia and Bill (Tina), Ontario; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; daughters-in-law: Cynthia Clarke, Victoria and Brenda Clarke, Nova Scotia; two sisters: Helen (Gerald) Higdon, Victoria and Lizzie Whyte, BC; sisters-in-Law: Irene Grey, St. John's, Beulah Clarke, Victoria and Margaret Clarke, Grand Falls-Windsor; special friend: Lillian Parsons, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, March 27. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Victoria United Church Choir.
