PECKHAM, William E.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, William E. Peckham of Salmon Cove, age 95 years. Predeceased by wife: Amelia; infant daughter: Marjorie; parents: Edward and Jemima (Butt); step-mother: Ida Peckham; brothers: Gordon, Arthur and George; sisters: Lizzie, Harriet and Agnes. Leaving to mourn one daughter: Rosalie (Edward) Penney, Harbour Grace; three sons: Gordon (Rose), Salmon Cove, Albert (Barbara), Mount Pearl and Roy (Ruth), St. John's; six grandchildren: Paula (Dean), Goldie (Robert), David (Brenda), Dawn (Bruce), Andrew (Sharon) and Danny (Keara); two great-grandchildren: Jordan and Joshua; two sisters-in-law: Doris (James) Kelloway, St. John's and Marjorie Kirby, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Saturday, May 21. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove or to the TCP Health Foundation.
