SWAIN, William Edmund- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, William Edmund Swain of Carbonear, age 84 years. Predeceased by sisters: Sarah M. and Vivian. Leaving to mourn, wife: Dorothy A.; one brother: Bertram (Verna), Carbonear; brother-in-law: James Power, Stephenville; a number of nephews, nieces as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Saturday, May 28. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Bethany United Church or to the Carbonear General Hospital.
