HURLEY, John E.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, John E. Hurley of Kingston, age 77 years. Predeceased by wife: Mary T.; brothers: Harold and Ronald; sisters: Lucy May and Bridget. Leaving to mourn eight daughters: Dorothy (Michael) Walsh, Bay de Verde, Bernadette (Daniel) Needham and Marion (James) Baker, both of Toronto, ON, Pauline (Jack) McDonald, Geneieve (Gary) Chipman, Debbie (Roger) King, Bridget (David) Miller and Marcella (Tony) Bursey, all of Kingston; five sons: Dominic (Margie), Toronto, ON, Eugene (Lorraine) and Eddie (Marlene), both of Kingston, Christopher (Glenda) and Joseph (Diane), both of Toronto, ON; thirty-two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mary (Reuben) Buckle, Carbonear and Cecilia Button, Old Perlican; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY and from where the funeral will take place on Friday, June 10 at 1:30 p.m. Mass to follow at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Kingston. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
