Helen (Pottle) Wesanko posted a condolence

Our sympathies go out to you, Renee and Jill, and to your families on the loss of your father. Clayton was a nephew of our father, Dr. Herbert L. Pottle, and was a special friend to us. He was a gifted story teller and compiled an historical treasure with his genealogical family tree. He was the last one of that generation in our family and his passing is felt deeply by us. Every time we went "back home" we always made a special trip to see him and Elsie. We'll miss his twinkling eyes and happy heart. Sincerely, Helen (Pottle) and Morris Wesanko (Ottawa, ON) Kathryn (Pottle) and the late Ian Ross (Battersea, ON)

Renee, Jill and families. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad; he was a kind and generous man. I have many fond memories of both your parents at Pottle's Supermarket in Crocker's Cove.
