CLARKE, John W.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 11, 2005, John W. Clarke of Victoria, age 78 years. Predeceased by wife: Emmie and son: George. Leaving to mourn, four sons: Wallace (Lynda), Western Bay, Ron (Maxine), Leonard G. (Louise) and John (Bev) all of Lunenburg, NS; eight daughters: Emmie (Ray) Slade, Dorothy (Jay) Bragg, Leona Heath, Dale Potter, Gladys Clarke and Pauline (Stan) Janes, all of Lunenburg, NS, Winnie Clarke, Carbonear, Marion Rose, Victoria; daughter-in-law: Georgina Vaters, Harbour Grace; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister: Catherine, USA; sisters-in-law: Betty Harnum and Lillian Vaters, both of Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Thursday, July 14. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria.
