RIGGS, Bridget- Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Friday, September 7, 2007, Bridget Riggs of Bay de Verde, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: Andrew and Margaret Riggs; brothers: Cyril and Daniel Riggs. Leaving to mourn brother: Thomas (Charlotte) Riggs, Bay de Verde; sister: Alice Walsh, Bay de Verde; also a number of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Saturday, September 8 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Then resting at Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Bay de Verde on Sunday, September 9 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Funeral mass to take place on Monday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. from Assumption Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Bay de Verde. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Bridget Riggs Memorial Fund.
