GILLINGHAM, Maxwell- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, July 25, 2005, Maxwell Gillingham of Lower Island Cove, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents: Eli and Violet; three sisters: Effie Moores, Florence Fagner and Mary Garland. Leaving to mourn, two brothers: Thomas (Gertie) and Samuel (Annie), both of Lower Island Cove; one sister: Susie (Harold) Baggett, Toronto, ON; brothers-in-law: George Moores, Carbonear and Clarence Garland, Lower Island Cove; a large number of nephews, nieces as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove and from where the funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
