RIDEOUT, Roland J.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, Roland J. Rideout of Carbonear, age 76 years. Predeceased by wife: Lavinia; parents: George and Hannah Rideout; brother: Augustus Rideout; sister: Grace Forward and Neta Caravan; brothers-in-law: Cecil Forward, Stuart Caravan, Thomas Milley, Chesley Kennell and Warren King; sister-in-law: Mary King. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Wanda (Paul) Mercer, Coley's Point; grandson: Bradley; two sisters: Meta (Herbert) Slade, Salmon Cove and Constance Milley, Western Bay; brothers-in-law: Sam (Lorna) King, Victoria, Jim (Karen) King, St. John's, Fred (Diane) King, Ontario and Gerald King, British Columbia; sisters-in-law: Jane Kennell, Western Bay and Winnie (Gerald) Butt, Broad Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Thursday, July 28. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear., Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation or to the Janeway Children's Hospital.
