PARSONS, Lloyd- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, September 10, 2007, Lloyd Parsons of Victoria, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: Benjamin and Mary; sister: Georgie; sister-in-law: Shirley; father-in-law: George Rose. Leaving to mourn, wife: Christine; one daughter: Sherry (Wade) Penney, Salmon Cove; three sons: Cordell (Wanda), Centreville, NS, Christopher, Ajax, ON and Sheldon (Joanne), Dartmouth, NS; eight grandchildren: Krista, Shelby, Brandon, Evan, Dustin, Adam, Victoria and Connor; five brothers: John (Helen), Gerald (Margaret) Roy (Shirley), Benjamin and Joe (Mary Lou); three sisters: Mary (Ed), Alice (John) and Glenda (Reg); mother-in-law: Minie Rose, Salmon Cove; brothers-in-law: Roy White, Glen (Judy)and Harold (Judy); sisters-in-law: Elvie (Phil), Ethel (Michael), Lenora (Ellis) and Georgie (Myres); also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Wednesday, September 12. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Lloyd Parsons Memorial Fund.
