Obituary of Rita Thoms

THOMS, Rita A.- Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Monday, August 29, 2005, Rita A. Thoms of Carbonear, age 78 years. Predeceased by brother: Alex and sister: Ethel. Leaving to mourn, husband: Stanley V.; two daughters: Linda Thoms and Judy (Graham) Legge, both of Carbonear; two grandchildren: Justin and Jenesta Legge; two brothers: John (Annie) Critch and Hedley (Winnie) Critch, both of Cavendish; sister-in-law: Minnie Ann Critch, Cavendish; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 31. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the CHVO Happy Tree.
