Obituary of Leah Johnson

JOHNSON, Leah A.- Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Tuesday, August 30, 2005, Leah A. Johnson of Job's Cove, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: William; sisters: Maude, Jane and Mary Ann. Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Violet (Clarence) Crowley, Western Bay and Elizabeth Calloway, St. John's; three sons: Clayton, St. John's, Raymond (Louise), Job's Cove and Rick (Karen), St. John's; twelve grandchildren: Glen, Sharon, Lisa, Walter, Vera, Mark, Tina, Glenda, Darrell, Ian, Adam and Ashley; four great-grandchildren: Melissa, Christopher, Ryan and Matthew; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, MAIN HIGHWAY, WESTERN BAY until 9:30 p.m. Thursday, September 1; then resting at Faith United Church, Job's Cove on Friday, September 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Faith United Cemetery, Job's Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Faith United Church, Job's Cove or to Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital.
