BUTT, Edward E.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 17, 2005, Edward E. Butt of Carbonear, age 74 years. Predeceased by son: Shawn and sisters: Florence, Annie and Margaret. Leaving to mourn wife: Rita; one daughter: Judy (Albert) Harris, Bristol's Hope; five sons: Raymond (Valerie), New Harbour, David (Dorothy), Edberg, AB, Gary (Doreen), Leduc, AB, John (Marilyn), Wetaskiwin, AB and Donald (Patricia), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Gloria Butt, Riverhead, Hr. Grace; fourteen grandchildren: Andrew, Jessica, Susan, Stephen, Kimberley, Lesley, Dawn, Megan, Amanda, Nicole, Samantha, Daniel, Matthew and Bradley; seven brothers: Stephen (Gertrude), Mount Pearl, John, Carbonear, Harold, Mount Pearl, Gerald (Crystal), Vermont, USA, Leslie (Myrtle), Gander, William (Pauline), Corner Brook and Graham (Joan), New Harbour; two sisters: Jean Penney, Carbonear and Gladys (Ron) Osmond, Stephenville; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 11:00 a.m. Sunday, November 20. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. No flowers by request; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Carbonear.
