IVERSON, Gertrude F.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, December 21, 2005, Gertrude F. Iverson of Harbour Grace, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Iver S.; parents: Patrick and Anne Maddigan; son-in-law: Franz Reiss. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Gertrude Reiss, Carbonear, Sonja (Siegfried) Hosel, Harbour Grace and Lorraine (Roy) Janes, St. John's; four grandchildren: Helga, Jens (Elva), Kurt and Marliese (Eddie); five great-grandchildren: Katarina, Jared, McKinley, Antonia and Edward; special niece: Mary Maddigan, Harbour Grace; niece: Margaret McNiven, St. John's; very special friend: Mary Crane, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 24 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Immaclate Conception Project Restoration Fund.
