Obituary of Olaf Snelgrove

SNELGROVE, Olaf- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 26, 2006, Olaf Snelgrove of Lower Island Cove, age 81 years. Predeceased by wife: Jessie Louise; parents: Kenneth and Annie; brothers: Douglas, Aubrey, Charles 'Jimmy', Simeon and Clifford. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Loretta (Paul) Lewis, Lower Island Cove; one son: Graham (Ann), Lower Island Cove; four grandchildren: Michelle (Mike), Jason (Crystal), Rodney (Melissa) and Shelley (Trevor); seven great-grandchildren: Natasha, Jesse, Jordan, Nicholas, Ryan, Emma and Noah; sisters-in-law: Florence Snelgrove, Lower Island Cove, Gladys Snelgrove, Montreal and Irene Squires, Old Perlican also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove and from the funeral service will take place on Tuesday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salvation Army Citadel, Lower Island Cove.
