JEFFERS, Ellis D.- Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, April 15, 2006, Ellis D. Jeffers of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 83 years. Predeceased by daughter: Judy; brothers: Thomas, Nathan, Chesley and Samuel. Leaving to mourn, wife: Daphne E.; daughter: Jeannette Beresford, Iowa; two sons: David (Ingrid), St. John's and Derek (Christie), Comox, BC; ten grandchildren: Vanessa (Derek), Michelle, Matthew, Meghan, Erinn, Caitlin, Stephen, Lauren, Charlie and Sam; one great-grandson: Brody; special family member: Roland; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear and from where the funeral service will take place on Monday, April 17 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Freshwater, Carbonear.
