PENNEY, Edward H. 'Brud'- Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and after a brief illness with cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 6, 2006, Edward H. 'Brud' Penney of Harbour Grace, age 59 years. Predeceased by parents: Harold and Phyllis; infant sister: Jane and parents-in-law: William and Amelia Peckham. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Rosalie; two daughters: Paula (Dean Maher), Edmonton, AB and Goldie (Robert) Reynolds, Mount Pearl; one brother: Alexander (Martha) Penney, Wabush; two sisters: Ruby Penney and Thelma Penney, both of Harbour Grace; brothers-in-law: Gordon (Rose) Peckham, Salmon Cove, Albert (Barbara) Peckham, Mount Pearl and Roy (Ruth) Peckham, St. John's; nieces and nephews: Joanne (Murray), Jason (Nadine), Nancy (Gord), Nanette (Joe), David (Brenda), Dawn (Bruce), Andrew (Sharon) and Danny (Keara); great-nephews and great-nieces: Jordan and Joshua, Danté and Cohen, Zara and Adam; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Tuesday, May 9. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's or the Palliative Care Unit, Carbonear General Hospital.
