Obituary of Duncan L. Hunt

HUNT, Duncan L.- Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, June 22, 2006, Duncan L. Hunt of Harbour Grace, age 79 years. Predeceased by parents: Duncan and Mary Beatrice; brothers: William, James and George; sisters: Rita, Marion, Martha, Beatrice, Matilda and Florence. son-in-law: George Dwyer. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary L.; two daughters: Linda Dwyer (Lloyd Bussey) and Florence (Silas) Mahaney, both of Harbour Grace; two sons: Duncan (Janet Durocher) and Wendell (Carol), both of Harbour Grace; daughter-in-law: Dianne Hunt, Gander Bay; ten grandchildren: Melanie, Shane, Danielle, Christi, Jody, Duncan, Darrin, Denise, Wendell and Tammy; nine great-grandchildren: MacKenzie, Joel, Brock, Michael, Duncan, Jade, Cameron, Leah and Victoria; one sister: Violet Noel, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Mead Hunt, Harbour Grace and Vera Hunt, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Special thanks to: Molly Graham and assistant Anna for their help and understanding. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE until 12:00 noon Sunday, June 25. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace.
