SHORT, M. Helen- Passed peacefully away at her residence on Thursday, July 6, 2006, M. Helen Short of Riverhead, Harbour Grace, age 63 years. Predeceased by husband, Samuel; parents: Patrick and Mary Ellen Ryan. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Racquel (Craig) Holwell, Portugal Cove; one son: Juan (Jodi), Riverhead, Harbour Grace; two grandchildren: Alexis and Samuel; one brother: Reg Ryan, Fermeuse; two sisters: Carmelita (Rick) Valiquette, Ottawa, ON and Gabriella (Carl) Nolander, Fermeuse; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, HARVEY STREET, HARBOUR GRACE after 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 8 and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, July 10 at 10:00 a.m. Mass to follow at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. Flowers gratefully accepted or as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA.
