Obituary of Ursula Penney

PENNEY, Ursula- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, July 21, 2006, Ursula Penney of Salmon Cove, age 79 years. Predeceased by husband: Calvert, daughter: Elizabeth Riddle, grandson: Brandon, brother: Edward and daughter-in-law: Brenda. Leaving to mourn two daughters: Evelyn (Robert) Clarke, Heart's Desire and Dorothy Penney (Darcy Stinson), Kitchener, ON; three sons: George, Boyd (Greta) and Ron (Jackie), all of Salmon Cove; ten grandchildren: Paula (Tim), Shawn (Treiva), Kevin (Anna), Lee-Ann, Sonya, Janice (Chris), Paula, Jennifer, Glen and Matthew; seven great-grandchildren: Alicia, Brianna, Mackenzie, Brady, Kyle, Steven and Logan; five brothers: Cyril (Lorraine) White, Carbonear, Harold (Gertie) White, Salmon Cove, Norman (Heather) White, Cambridge, ON, Clyde (Elizabeth) White, Kingston, ON and Graham (Ada) White, Salmon Cove; three sisters: Mildred (Desmond) Slade, BC, Dorothy White, Calgary, AB and Lillian (Ronald) Penney, Kelligrews; son-in-law: Dave Riddle, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Stella White, Cambridge, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Monday, July 24. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers; as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
