EARLE, Mabel E.- Passed peacefully away at St. Luke's Nursing Home, St. John's on Monday, July 31, 2006, Mabel E. Earle of Carbonear, age 96 years. Predeceased by husband: George E. in 1981; brother: Benjamin and sister: Hilda. Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Dorothy (William) Vokey, St. John's and Joan (Ches) Brown, Bay Roberts; two sons: Harold (Esther), Ottawa, ON and William B. (Mabel), St. John's; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother: Chesley (Dora) Noel, Toronto, ON; two sisters: Edith Walters and Elsie Hedges, both of St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR with visitation hours by request of the family Tuesday, Aug 1, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday Aug 2, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service on Wednesday, Aug 2 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church and Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to St. James Anglican Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
