BARRETT, Leonard Wm. 'Bill'- Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Saturday, October 28, 2006, Leonard Wm. 'Bill' Barrett of Carbonear, age 78 years. Predeceased by parents: Emma and John; daughter-in-law: Judy; grandson: Richard William Barrett; brothers: John and Ralph; sisters: Alice and Joyce. Leaving to mourn, wife: Helen; two sons: Roderick (Veronica) and Richard, both of Carbonear; one daughter: Corrine (Derek) Yetman, Coley's Point; five grandchildren: Laura (Cephas), Roderick B. Jr. (Michelle), Tina (James), Tammy and Melissa; five great-grandchildren: Austin, Cassandra, Kendra, Denicka and Brandon; two brothers: David (Brenda), Ontario and Lloyd (Joyce), Carbonear; two sisters: Dorthey Ranson, Ontario and Shirley Barrett, Texas; sister-in-law: Kay Barrett, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to the staff at ICU, St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR with visitation hours on Monday, October 30 and Tuesday, October 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday, November 1 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
