KING, Edward L.- Passed suddenly away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, November 2, 2006, Edward L. King of Perry's Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by sister: Phone Mae Swain; brothers: Frazer, James, Reuben and Robert. Leaving to mourn, wife: Betty; son: Edward (Carolyn), St. John's; three grandchildren: Stephen, Michael and Max; mother-in-law: Catherine Penney, Carbonear; one sister: Edith Swain, Perry's Cove; sisters-in-law: Evelyn King, Carbonear, Gladys King, Perry's Cove, Shirley (Vivian) Hiscock, Victoria, Robyn Walker, Ottawa, ON, Sandra (Harold) Noel, Perry's Cove, Isabelle (Doug) Sheppard, Harbour Grace, Jennifer Giroux, Brampton, ON and Renee (Melvin) Clarke, Victoria; brothers-in-law: Stephen (Nora) Penney, North Carolina, USA, Mike (Jeanette) Penney, Victoria, Ken (Lynn) Penney, Greg (Denise) Penney and Jim (Mary Ellen) Penney, all of Brampton, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at NOEL'S FUNERAL HOME, WATER STREET, CARBONEAR until 12:00 noon Sunday, November 5. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church and Cemetery, Perry's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
